Before joining Rocket Internet’s product department, Dan worked as a freelance full-stack web developer and UI engineer in Berlin and San Francisco. He holds an MBA from TU Munich. He co-founded an award-winning startup in digital publishing space.
Ivo Betke is the founder of webcrowd, a job & service agency for internet professionals. Ivo started as a PHP freelancer round about 10 years ago and has moved into the IT recruitment field in 2010. His idea with webcrowd is to build a partner for developers instead of another headhunters business. Thus the sole focus lies on development ranging from frontend to backend technologies and mobile development and product management.
Dr. Johannes Bohnet
Dr. Johannes Bohnet is CEO and founder of Software Diagnostics. His educational background is physics and software engineering. In parallel to his research activities at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute, he worked as a consultant and trainer for a renowned IT consulting company. Both his research results and his experience from consulting for medium to large-scale enterprises were the foundation for successfully launching Software Diagnostics.

Gilli Cegla is founder and Managing Director at Novawind.com. As a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in marketing, business development and hands-on innovation he focuses on Western European markets where he is involved in the building of new digital related businesses. Brian Fabian Crain
Brian Fabian Crain is a Berlin-based economist and entrepreneur. Besides organizing the Berlin Quantified Self group, Brian has been involved in various Bitcoin-related projects since June 2013. He is the founder of Epicenter Bitcoin – a leading podcast, which focuses on the most important news and developments in the Bitcoin world. Brian is also the founder and organizer of Bitcoin Startups Berlin.
Lea-Sophie Cramer is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Amorelie.de, the Berlin-based online lovetoy shop that sells high-quality products for a fulfilling and even more fun love life. Dr. Axel Flasbarth
Axel Flasbarth is CEO of Mobile Event Guide GmbH, Germany's leading provider of event apps. Prior to that, he was CEO at fotocommunity GmbH (selling the company to WEKA) and worked for eBay and at McKinsey & Company.
Robert is one of the two founders and Member of the Management Board of Zalando, Europe’s market leader in fashion eCommerce. Finn Age Hänsel

Sven Külper is co-founder and CMO of mytaxi. Launching the world’s first taxi app in 2009, he and his partner became global pioneers in the area of mobility, mobile payment and instant delivery. mytaxi is an on-demand taxi service which disrupted the entire taxi industry. With mytaxi Sven Külper and his partner Niclaus Mewes have built up an international company with more than 150 employees in six countries.
Nicole is a Partner in EY's Berlin Business Tax Advisory practice. From 2008 through 2010 she worked at the German Tax Desk of EY in New York. She is a specialist in international taxation, tax structuring and tax planning. Working in the Business Tax Advisory Group in Berlin Nicole provides advice to her clients on all aspects of foreign investments into Germany as well as on German investments abroad.

Eva Missling is the General Manager of Europe for 99designs, the world’s largest online graphic design marketplace. After 8 years of experience in digital agencies, Eva founded 12designer, a leading marketplace for graphic design in Europe that got acquired by 99designs in 2012. Torsten Müller is the co-founder and CMO of Tame, a Berlin-based IT-startup, where he manages marketing, PR and sales. Katie has spent her career building significant Internet businesses in the community, self-publishing and search spaces. Most recently she was the Head of Product for Microsoft Startup Labs.

Franziska Schaefermeyer, Investment Manager at Tengelmann Ventures, has internally built up a new investment strategy called “Impact Investing”. Under the newly founded venture arm Tengelmann Social Ventures two investments in Social Businesses (e.g. KIDDIFY) have already been done. Albert Schwarzmeier is CEO & Managing Director of ad2games, a leading and innovative marketing platform for online games. Prior to ad2games he was founder and CEO of mysportgroup and developed it to the online sports retailer with the biggest assortment in Europe. Schwarzmeier collected ample experience in the startup and tech industries as Managing Director of Groupon Germany, consultant at Zalando and Roland Berger.

Fabian holds a masters in economics from University of Bonn, Germany.

Mirjam is a manager at EY. She is a German Certified Public Accountant and holds an M.Sc. in Accounting and Taxation from Mannheim Business School. Her client portfolio consists of public listed companies as well as companies owned by institutional or private investors of all sizes within in the technology, media & entertainment sector. She is specialized in auditing start-up companies.
Before joining ad2games, Stephan worked at AppLift as Head of Business Development Europe and was responsible for the overall expansion of the European mobile business on the Media Partner and Advertiser side. He also worked for 3.5 years as project manager at KPMG for the Transaction Services and Restructuring department. He was in charge of a wide range of international M&A projects.
Dario Suter is founder and Managing Director of DCM: film distributor, film production and Business Angel. DCM connect film and internet with this extraordinary mix of three business areas. Leopold von Bismarck
Leopold von Bismarck joined tado° shortly after the company was founded. He has more than six years of experience working in the internet industry. Leopold previously worked at the early stage venture capital firm and incubator Rocket Internet creating online startups from scratch. Before joining tado° he acted as Head of Online Marketing at Groupon International leading an international team across 40 countries.
Fabian studied Business at the University of St. Gallen, Münster and Indiana. Afterwards he joined Team Europe and helped to found Berlin's first Venture Capital firm: Point Nine Capital.

Philipp Westermeyer is founder of metrigo, which was sold to Zanox in 2013. He began his career as assistant to the board of Bertelsmann AG. After that he worked as an investment manager at Gruner + Jahr New Media Ventures. In 2009 he founded adyard and is the organizer of Online Marketing Rockstars and Online Marketing Camp. He also runs the job platform OnlineMarketingJobs.de.
Andreas is a passionate media guy. Before joining Rocket Internet as Global Head of Public Relations, he worked for the Chief Editorial Staff of BILD, Europe's biggest newspaper, and for BILD.de. He was Press Spokesman at Axel Springer AG and worked for the Global Public Relations of Bayer Schering Pharma AG.
First working for the Team Europe Seed Fund as an intern in early 2011, Nicolas came back to Point Nine Capital as Associate after graduating from the University of Mannheim in 2012. He gathered first work experiences in New York and Singapore in real estate management and marketing, then moved back to Berlin to be closer to the lively startup scene and pursue his passion for young technology ventures.
Nikolas Woischnik, Founder Tech Open, Openers & Ahoy! Berlin. Over the last years Nikolas has dedicated his time to helping develop the Berlin technology and startup ecosystem, founding TechBerlin, the coworking and innovation space Ahoy! Berlin as well as the Tech Open Air Berlin Festival. He has further consulted international companies (i.e. Eventbrite, Twitter, Spotify) as well as large German corporates.
