Since its launch in late November last year, online shoe retailer ChicChickClub (CCC) has reported that more than 20,000 shoppers had signed up to the portal in the first two months of business.
The ‘curated’ shopping experience, which boasts an inclusive ‘style check’ from German fashion experts, has drawn in more than 7,000 Facebook fans and a nomination for a lifestyle award from German trend magazine Joy.
CCC, a clone of US celebrity Kim Kardashians’s ShoeDazzle and UK pop star Cheryl Cole’s StylistPick, says it’s becoming a major player in the German market. “We are breaking new ground with our innovative fashion- and e-commerce concept and are excited to experience its success with our users,” says CEO Daniel Offermann.
“We are looking forward to the upcoming weeks and all the new ideas, improvements and exciting spring/summer showrooms that come along with it,” he adds.
The company got off to a shaky start this year, when then-CEO Niklas Meyden left the company after a short-lived stint with CCC. Details of his abrupt departure have not been revealed.
