Gelbe Seiten acquires

Gelbe Seiten’s (Germany’s Yellow Pages) holding Müller Medien from Nuremberg acquires the majority of, a platform that lets you book doctor’s appointments. While the price stays undisclosed, the Berlin-based startup announced that the three founders (Bjoern Keune, Axel Kuzmik and Gennadi Tschernow) as well as a business angel Pascal Zuta will leave. Thomas Hillard and Simon Tietz, both employees of, will now share the CEO position.

Foodpanda sells Russian business for $100 million

Food delivery startup Foodpanda, backed by Berlin-based company builder Rocket Internet, sells its business in Russia “Russian Delivery Club” to Mail.Ru Group for $100 million. Reason for it is to focus stronger on Foodpanda’s core regions. That comes in handy for Mail.Ru Group, which says it already touches 94 per cent of Russia’s internet-using population through services such as, a facebook-like social network and others.

relyar raises $23 million

Berlin-based IoT startup relayr closed a $23 million round on Wednesday. The investment came from HSB Ventures, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Munich Venture Partners. The startup provides a device, as well as hardware and sensor-agnostic enterprise middleware platform. It’s known for its hardware kit WunderBar.

German Autolabs closes €2 million round

Berlin-based German Autolabs started focusing on a digital co-pilot software just five months ago. Today the startup announced having raised a €2 million Seed Round. The investment comes from Target Partner and several business angels. The idea behind the startup’s software is to create a better working co-pilot than Apple’s Siri or the Google alternative. The software will also delay WhatsApp messages when a driver is in a stressful situation and even read emails aloud when the driver is stuck in traffic.
