Movinga raises Series C round
The Berlin-based moving platform Movinga made headlines this summer, due to an intense burn-rate: The founders left the company amid unsubstantiated allegations of impropriety, and laid off a quarter of its staff. On Thursday, Movinga announced a €17 million Series C round. The investment came from existing investors: Rocket Internet’s Global Founders Capital, Earlybird Venture Capital and STS Ventures. New investors are Carlo Koelzer, the founder of 360t, and Gert Purkert, founder and CEO of Aurelius.
Lillydoo raises several million Series A round
Lillydoo, a diaper subscription startup, raised a seven-digit amount in its Seed round back in 2015. On Thursday, the startup closed a Series A round. Just to name some of the investors: Florian Heinemann, from Project A ventures, Amorelie founders Lea-Sophie Cramer and Sebastian Pollok, as well as Fraconi’s Bjoern Korbmueller and Paul Schwarzenholz, eWings founder Thilo Hardt and eDarling founders Lukas Brosseder and David Khalil – and the list goes on! The company plans to use the new cash to expand to Switzerland and develop new products.
Sauce Labs acquires TestObject
The San Francisco-based startup Sauce Labs bought up TestObject, a startup that helps test mobile apps on Android and iOS, Thursday. TestObject will reportedly be integrated into Sauce Labs own desktop and operating systems testing software. Financial details remained undisclosed.
