ACTA Berlin photo gallery Written by Linsey Fryatt on 11. February 2012

Saturday 11 February saw around 10,000 people take to the Berlin streets to protest against ACTA (Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement). This peaceful display of people power was one of the largest in Europe over the weekend, with an estimated 50,000 taking part across the continent.
On Friday 10 February, on the eve of demonstrations, Germany withdrew its support of ACTA, saying that it was reconsidering its position and that it would wait for an EU resolution before taking any action.
Jambi Ganbar was there to to take some amazing pictures of the peaceful demonstration. He noted: “The mood was civilized and determined. What really surprised me was the breadth of ages. As you can see in my pictures there were young high-school kids that really seemed to have taken the protect against ACTA to heart, as well as, older netizens”.
Do you have any shots of the demo? Post them below on on our Facebook page…
