Rocket Internet helps Pets Deli raise millions

The pet food startup Pets Deli raised a single-digit million euro amount with the help of Rocket Internet and Project A. The startup, which sells “natural and wholesome” dog and cat food, did not comment or provide further details on the capital raised.

Three months after launching, Sebastian Diemer, the startup’s founder and co-founder of Kreditech Holding, announced a €5.5 million seed round. Several business angels participated in the round, as did DN Capital, Point Nine Captital, Redalpine, Fly Ventures, La Famiglia and the German Startup Group.

Zeotap receives €12 million from investors

The Berlin-based startup Zeotap brought two new investors on board in a B series round that raked in €12 million. New Science Ventures, a New York VC, and Here, a Berlin mapping service, joined Capnamic Ventures, Iris Capital and several business angels interested in the big data startup. Zeotap, which was launched in 2014, provides privacy-compliant data to marketers for advertising.

Daimler acquires mobile payment startup PayCash

The car company Daimler recently acquired PayCash, a mobile payment startup, in order to establish a uniform payment process for its various services. Based in Luxembourg, PayCash was founded in 2012 by Jürgen Wolff.
