Having spent his childhood in his native Herzogenaurach, Klaus graduated with a diploma in Economic Sciences from the Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen-Nürnberg. In 1991, and after successfully completing his doctorate, the oldest grandchild of Adi Dassler, moved to Luzerne, Switzerland together with his wife Angelika and their two children Carolin and Alexander. Here, Klaus initially worked as key account consultant at the market research group IHA, before founding the consulting firm iNFORM Consulting AG with two partners. In 1999, he founded the Sargon AG, whose entrepreneurial focus lies on the guidance of and investment in small and medium-sized companies and start-ups. Klaus is fluent in English and holds both German and Swiss citizenship. An entrepreneur himself and a longtime contemporary of his grandfather Adi Dassler, Klaus is always highly involved in the projects seeking to revive the legacy of one of Germany’s biggest entrepreneurs.
