About KfW Bankengruppe
KfW is a promotional bank and the largest provider of SME finance in Germany. It provides companies with equity, long-term investment loans as well as loans to finance working capital. KfW generally grants its loans via banks. One of KfW's key areas of activity is the promotion of business start-ups. With the aim of making it easier to set up a business in Germany and thus encouraging more people to take this step, KfW initiated the start-up platform www.gruenderplattform.de together with the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. The Business Start-Up Platform is implemented by the partner BusinessPilot. Its use is free of charge.
