Target, DN, Accel, Holtzbrinck Ventures and Point Nine to pitch at Heureka! Written by Nina Fowler on 12. April 2012

It’s a rare reversal when five top internet investors pitch their ideas to a room of founders and entrepreneurs – and that’s just part of the lineup at Heureka! on May 7th.
Target Partners’ Olaf Jacobi, Point Nine Capital’s Christoph Janz, DN Capital’s Nenad Marovac, Accel’s Max Niederhofer and Holtzbrink’s Sven Achter are confirmed as speakers at the investors’ screening session. The session will challenge the panel to answer three key questions: why should you choose us, why are we successful, and how is internet investment changing.

Olaf Jacobi

Olaf Jacobi, Partner, Target Partners

Olaf Jacobi has nearly two decades experience as a manager, entrepreneur, business angel and VC (and founder). As a business angel, he invested in multiple up-and-coming IT and internet companies (sound like you?)
He presided over Target’s successful investment in Scoreloop AG, sold to Research in Motion in 2011.

Christoph Janz

Christoph Janz, Co-Founder, Point Nine

Christoph Janz is an expert on software as a service (SaaS), a self-proclaimed “lazy blogger” and a top tweeter.
He co-founded (acquired by and Pageflakes (acquired by LiveUniverse), before co-founding “the angel VC” Point Nine Capital in 2011.

Nenad Marovac

Nenad Marovac, Managing Partner, DN Capital

Harvard MBA Nenad Marovac, founder and managing partner at DN Capital, keeps a keen eye on software and digital media in Europe and the US. Before founding DN, he spent five years at leading global private equity house Advent International.

Max NiederhoferMax Neiderhofer, Partner, Accel

Max Neiderhofer began his entrepreneurial career as co-founder of, Germany’s largest blogging community. He’s now based in London as an investment partner for major VC house Accel.
Here’s what TechCrunch’s Mike Butcher has to say: “startup guru… if you missed his speech at GeeknRolla last year you seriously missed out”.

Sven AchterSven Achter, Partner, Holtzbrinck Ventures

Last but not least – Sven Achter is in charge of tech investments for Holtzbrinck.
Before joining the VC (which has invested in Zalando, Dawanda, Groupon City Deal, Wooga, GameDuell and many others), he helped launch Immobilienscout – now the largest read estate portal site in Europe – as lead software architect.

Shoot to win – send us a video to win tickets

Heureka!, co-hosted by Gründerszene and VentureVillage, is Berlin’s hottest new digital conference, featuring sessions, screenings, networking and a post-conference wurst or two on the sunny banks of the Spree. It’s a chance to find practical inspiration and perhaps even find a partner or two.
We want to help you get there. As well as offering special rates for startups, VentureVillage and Gründerszene are running a video competition to help you win tickets (and achieve fame).
Just film a clip of whatever it is that inspires you, upload to YouTube and send the link to before April 16th. We’ll pick three winners, who will all receive a free ticket to the event, and will post some of our favourites to the Heureka! Facebook page.
