The Wall Street Journal Deutschland, in collaboration with VentureVillage, is launching TechCafé Berlin, with events on 6 and 7 March. The new café is a spin-off of the successful London version and will see networking events and sessions taking place at KaffeeMitte, located in the heart of Berlin.

Multiple expert-led sessions will take place over the two days, bringing together startups and big names from the areas of economics, politics and media. The main topic of discussion will be trends in the digital industry and the entrepreneurial spirit of Berlin, along with a panel with VCs and business angels – giving young startups tips on gaining funding.
In between sessions, visitors will be able to catch up on the latest news from on the selection of iPads provided by the cafe.
Some of the confirmed speakers include Xing founder Lars Hinrichs; Rocket Internet founder and manager Dr. Johannes Bruder; Cafer Tosun, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the SAP Innovation Center; Cornelia Yzer, the Berlin senator for Economics and Technology and startup expert Stephan Jacquemot from Microsoft.
